What does it really mean

Family Medicine

1 You should know that Family Medicine is not just about issuing prescriptions and referrals. Our OBLIGATION is primarily to PREVENT. I know it sounds like science fiction and maybe I’ve amused you a bit, but you should know that many diseases should be prevented through the family doctor.

2 We are obliged to consult you and prescribe FREE treatment. If this doesn’t happen when you need it, why are you paying state health contributions?

3 The family doctor’s office should not be a “secretariat” where some papers are issued a few times a year and that’s it.

We must treat you first and foremost, that’s why it’s called “primary care.”

Please, call with confidence! Use the public health system!
